A few years ago, I attended an IGO meeting at CARQUEST headquarters in Raleigh and ran into John Bush, the Executive Director at Wheels4Hope. Wheels4Hope is a Raleigh-based nonprofit that provides low-income families and individuals with reliable, affordable vehicles, which is very often a critical component of getting and keeping a job, fulfilling family obligations, and pursuing new opportunities.

John and I spoke about Wheels4Hope’s growth and plans for the future, which led me to ask one question: What can I do to help you?

Over the course of the next few months, the team at Autoshop Solutions worked with Wheels4Hope on website improvements, SEO rankings and social media campaigns. This led to a full site redesign complete with optimized content and a refreshed social media strategy.

As a result of the collaboration and increased visibility online, Wheels4Hope became the number one nonprofit for car donations in the Triangle and the Triad. They are currently planning on opening a new hub in Asheville next year to help further spread Wheels4Hope’s mission and services across the state.

Ask any Autoshop team member about some of their favorite moments, and working with Wheels4Hope will undoubtedly be mentioned. Not only was it hugely rewarding for our team to contribute to such a great local nonprofit, but the collaboration led to an ongoing relationship and real impact in the community.

Figuring out what defines your business, what you stand for, and finding ways to contribute to your own community are all part of the equation when it comes to growing your business and your brand. You and everyone on your team has a set of skills and talents to contribute to a larger picture, to help create new opportunities, and to build lasting relationships.

All of that starts with one question: What can I do to help you?
